Mozambique Freight Loads — Beira, Maputo & Nacala Port Transit Corridors

Mozambique's primary role in Southern African freight is as a port transit country. Beira and Nacala are two of the most strategically important ports in SADC — the closest ocean access points for landlocked Zimbabwe, Zambia and Malawi. The Beira Corridor is one of the highest-volume freight corridors in Africa, handling containers, fuel, rice, wheat and general cargo daily.

Note on local Mozambique loads: Local domestic freight within Mozambique is limited on AppLoads due to language barriers — the SADC logistics community operates primarily in English. Mozambique's strongest presence on AppLoads is as a transit and port corridor serving Zimbabwe, Zambia and Malawi.
